Wondering What Class Level You Should Consider?

Flip Lab offers a variety of classes designed to improve acrobatics skills for all ages and levels. Each class provides a unique experience focusing on technique, strength, and creativity.

Beginner

Prerequisites: None

​​Entry level class designed to start building strength and flexibility and beginning acro skills. Dancers will work on tumbling skills like handstands, cartwheels and walkovers. This class is perfect for beginners to gain confidence and control in their acro skills. This class translates to levels 1-3 in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Advanced

Prerequisites: Front and Back Walkover

Advanced class is perfect for dancers that have mastered intermediate level skills and ready to train side aerials, front aerials, back handsprings. Dancers will begin to incorporate aerial variations and combinations. Dancers will also work on progressions for roundoff back handsprings, back tucks. Dancers will continue to work on strength and flexibility and will also begin to add in fluidity in transitions. This class translates to levels 7+ in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Intermediate

Prerequisites: Cartwheel and Bridge with Kick Over

Intermediate class is perfect for dancers that have mastered beginner level skills and ready to learn more! Dancers will work on tumbling skills like walkovers and will begin progressions for side aerials along with other tricks like scorpions and chest stands - all while continuing to work on strength and flexibility. This class translates to levels 4-6 in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Prerequisites: Side Aerial

Elite

Elite class is perfect for dancers that have mastered the side aerial and want to take their training to the next level and train round off back handsprings, back tucks and combinations of those skills. Dancers will continue to work on strength and flexibility and will also begin to add in fluidity in transitions. This class translates to levels 8+ in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Private 

Prerequisites: None

Private lessons are perfect for dancers looking for individualized training at any level.

Skill Specific

Prerequisites: 

Walkovers class: backbend standup

Aerials class: front and back walkovers

Tricks class: side aerial

Skill Specific classes are perfect for dancers that are training to master a specific skill, like walkovers, aerials and tricks. Dancers will work on strength and flexibility in addition to the focused skill.

How Does Pricing at Flip Lab Work?

$140/month

Group Classes

When booking non private classes at Flip Lab, you will pay a monthly fee per class series. For example, if you book a beginner series you will pay the above price per month until your series is complete. If you wish to add a skills based series on top of that, you will pay the same monthly fee in addition to the fee you were paying prior.

Private Classes

When booking a private lesson you will be billed by the session, not series. $45/ 30 mins.

Group Class Cancellation Policy

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as this policy allows us to respect the time of our coaches and provide consistent opportunities for all students.

Advanced Cancellation Required

Group class cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the class start time.

Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or failure to attend a scheduled group class, will result in the class being forfeited (no make-up or refund).

No Substitutions

Unlike private lessons, substitutes are not permitted in group classes. Your registration holds a spot that cannot be reassigned.

Exceptions

Flip Lab reserves the right to make exceptions in the case of illness, emergencies, or weather-related cancellations, at the discretion of management.

​

Studio Cancellations

If Flip Lab cancels a group class (e.g., due to staff illness or unforeseen circumstances), a make-up class or credit will be offered.

Private Lesson Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Notice

Any private lesson must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time to avoid a cancellation fee.

​

Late Cancellation Fee

If a private lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged.

​

Substitution Option

To avoid the cancellation fee, you may arrange for another athlete to take your place during the scheduled private lesson time. This substitution must be communicated to Flip Lab prior to the start of the lesson.

​

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled private lesson without prior notice will also result in the full lesson cost of $75 the cancellation fee.
