Wondering What Class Level You Should Consider?

Flip Lab offers a variety of classes designed to improve acrobatics skills for all ages and levels. Each class provides a unique experience focusing on technique, strength, and creativity.

Beginner

Prerequisites: none

​​Entry level class designed to start building strength and flexibility and beginning acro skills. Dancers will work on tumbling skills like handstands, cartwheels and walkovers. This class is perfect for beginners to gain confidence and control in their acro skills. This class translates to levels 1-3 in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Advanced

Prerequisites: front and back walkover on both sides

Advanced class is perfect for dancers that have mastered intermediate level skills and ready to train side aerials, front aerials, back handsprings. Dancers will begin to incorporate aerial variations and combinations. Dancers will also work on progressions for roundoff back handsprings, back tucks. Dancers will continue to work on strength and flexibility and will also begin to add in fluidity in transitions. This class translates to levels 7-8 in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Intermediate

Prerequisites: cartwheel and bridge with kick over

Intermediate class is perfect for dancers that have mastered beginner level skills and ready to learn more! Dancers will work on tumbling skills like walkovers and will begin progressions for side aerials along with other tricks like scorpions and chest stands - all while continuing to work on strength and flexibility. This class translates to levels 4-6 in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Prerequisites: aide aerial and standing back handspring

Elite

Elite class is perfect for dancers that have mastered the side aerial and want to take their training to the next level and train round off back handsprings, back tucks and combinations of those skills. Dancers will continue to work on strength and flexibility and will also begin to add in fluidity in transitions. This class translates to levels Pre-Professional 1-3 in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

Private 

Prerequisites: None

Private lessons are perfect for dancers looking for individualized training at any level.

Skill Specific

Prerequisites: 

Walkovers class: backbend standup

Aerials class: front and back walkovers

Tricks class: side aerial

Skill Specific classes are perfect for dancers that are training to master a specific skill, like walkovers, aerials and tricks. Dancers will work on strength and flexibility in addition to the focused skill.

Private Lessons $45/30 min or $80/60 min​

Camps $75/day for 3 hour camp

Group Class Enrollment, Billing & Cancellation Policy

​

Enrollment in Flip Lab group classes is ongoing and reserves your athlete’s spot in class each month.

​

Monthly tuition will be automatically charged on the 1st of each month to the payment method on file.

 

If your athlete needs to withdraw from a class, written notification must be submitted prior to the last day of the current month in order to avoid charges for the following month. Withdrawal requests received after the last day of the month may still be responsible for the upcoming month’s tuition if billing has already processed.

 

Because tuition reserves a student’s spot in class and staffing is scheduled based on enrollment, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable once processed.

 

Missed classes will not receive tuition credits or deductions. Eligible absences may receive a makeup class credit in accordance with Flip Lab’s makeup policy and subject to class availability.

 

Group Class Makeup Policy

At Flip Lab, we understand that occasional absences happen due to illness, school events, vacations, or family schedules. To help athletes stay consistent in their training, eligible missed group classes may receive a makeup class opportunity.

Makeup Eligibility

• Makeup classes are available for currently enrolled group class students only
• A missed class must be reported through the Parent Portal in order to receive a makeup credit
• Makeup credits are non-transferable and may only be used for the enrolled athlete

​

Scheduling Makeup Classes

• Makeup classes may be scheduled through the Parent Portal based on class availability
• Makeup classes must be completed within 60 days of the missed class date
• Makeup classes are subject to available space and appropriate class level placement
• Families are encouraged to schedule makeup classes as early as possible, as availability may vary

Makeup Limitations

• Tuition credits, refunds, or prorated adjustments will not be issued for missed classes
• Makeup classes cannot be guaranteed for every absence due to class capacity limitations
• Unused makeup credits expire after 60 days and do not roll over beyond the expiration period
• Makeup classes may not be exchanged for private lessons, camps, workshops, or other programs unless otherwise approved by Flip Lab

Additional Notes

• Athletes must remain actively enrolled in their regular class in order to use makeup credits
• Flip Lab reserves the right to limit or adjust makeup availability to maintain safe class sizes and appropriate athlete-to-coach ratios
• Extended injuries or medical situations may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

We understand that unexpected situations may arise, and exceptions may be considered for extended medical circumstances or injuries on a case-by-case basis.

Group Class Cancellation

Private & Semi-Private Lesson Cancellation Policy

​

Private and semi-private lesson times are reserved specifically for each athlete or group. In order to respect coach scheduling and studio availability, Flip Lab requires advance notice for cancellations or schedule changes.

​

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time may be rescheduled without penalty, based on coach availability

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson time will incur a $25 late cancellation fee if a substitute athlete is not found to fill the reserved time slot

• Families are welcome to find a substitute athlete to take the lesson time in order to avoid the late cancellation fee. Substitute arrangements must be communicated to and approved by Flip Lab prior to the lesson time

• Athletes who do not attend their scheduled lesson without notice (“no-shows”) will be charged the full lesson fee

• Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of recurring lesson reservations at Flip Lab’s discretion

We understand that emergencies and illnesses occasionally arise, and exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
